FREEZE WATCH for Wednesday night/Thursday morning for all areas north of the lake, west of the lake, and for upper Lafourche, and upper Terrebonne parishes. Temperatures will drop to upper 20s to low 30s so protect plants, pets, and people.

This cold snap will continue with some wind still to make it feel colder. Heavy jackets and coats will be needed. Some light rain will still be possible.

Cloudy, breezy, and cold this evening with a 50% chance for light rain or drizzle. Temperatures in low 40s feeling like 30s. 50% continues overnight through Wednesday morning commute. Lows in upper 30s to low 40s, but still with some wind, it will feel like 30s. Only a 20% chance for light rain or drizzle Wednesday with cloudy skies and still breezy. Highs in mid 40s feeling like 30s.

Sunshine will return Thursday through Weekend. A light freeze is expected Thursday and Friday morning north of the lake. Protect plants, pets, people both mornings. Thursday and Friday morning south of the lake frost is possible so protect plants, pets, people.
