The weak cold front has moved through and this will help to clear out the clouds today. This will lead to some quiet weather for the rest of the week! We will become sunny with cool high temperatures in the mid 60s this afternoon. Tonight will be clear and cold. Lows will be in the upper 30s north with some frost, so protect plants and pets. South of the lake will be in the upper 40s.
Pleasant weather is expected on Wednesday as high pressure sits near Louisiana. We will have plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 60s.
Another weak cold front will move through Wednesday Night into Thursday. This will just reinforce the pleasant weather over us. High pressure will build over us on Thursday and Friday with sunshine and highs in the lower 70s each day.
Weekend Outlook: Saturday will be another delightful day with partly cloudy skies and milder high temperatures in the mid 70s. This means we will have great weather for the Italian-American St. Joseph's parade in the french Quarter at 6 PM.
An upper-level wave will move over us on Sunday and this will set off spotty showers. We stay very mild with highs in the mid 70s. You may want to bring you umbrella with you to the LA Irish-Italian parade in Metairie. Any rain will likely arrive toward the end of the parade.
