As Hurricane Ian turns toward the Carolinas drier and cooler than normal temperatures will continue to push into the Tampa Bay area for Friday and last through the weekend.
Temperatures Friday morning will be a little on the cool side for this time of year with lows in the low-middle 60s. Plenty of sunshine will take us through the day with high temperatures only in the low 80s.
It'll remain a little breezy at first with north-northwesterly winds around 10 mph early in the day with gradually decreasing winds into the afternoon and evening.
The winds will become light to calm overnight as temperatures steadily cool into the upper 60s early Saturday morning.
The weekend will be fantastic with some of the best weather that we have had across the region since late spring. High temperatures will be in the middle 80s with mostly sunny skies. Most noticeably will be dry air which will keep the humidity very low (for our standards).
