7 AM: Hurricane Dorian moves off the Carolina coast

Hurricane Dorian is weaker this morning, but it is still slamming the Carolinas with flooding rains, storm surge, damaging winds, and tornadoes. The hurricane will FINALLY begin pulling away from the East Coast later today. It will move northeast and pick up speed as it heads toward the Canadian Maritimes.
