Our taste of summer continues

More extreme heat this Memorial Day weekend with highs in the low 90s and heat indices in the triple digits!

NEW ORLEANS —

New Orleans Latest Weather Forecast

Our taste of summer continues with highs in the upper 80s and 90s and heat indices reaching the near triple digits, and at times above, later in the week and the Memorial Day weekend. The upper ridge is keeping us hot and dry and even as it gets supressed a bit south, it will continue to keep our temps flirting with records and any storms systems to our north.

We may see a strong enough upper trough mid next week send a weak "cold" front through the Gulf coast, hopefully lowering humidity a bit.
