NEW ORLEANS -- Police are investigating a robbery Saturday afternoon in New Orleans East where police say an 8-year-old boy was the victim.
It happened around 1 p.m. in the 7200 block of Culpepper Drive.
According to a preliminary initial report from police, the boy was approached by a man he didn't know who said "give me the keys." When the boy said no, the man reportedly pulled out a gun and said, "Give me the keys or I will kill you."
Police said the boy gave him the keys, and the man ran away.
No other details have been released by the New Orleans Police Department about this robbery.
