KENNER, La. - Police have named a suspect Saturday in a March murder where a man was reportedly shot to death with his family nearby.
Kenner Police said they are looking for Lanard Lavigne in connection with a fatal March 14 shooting that killed 36-year-old Conner Kerwin.
According to The New Orleans Advocate, at least one person chased after Connor in the 300 block of Clemson Drive, firing a gun at him. Connor was shot in the thigh and died at an area hospital.
Police said Lavigne is now wanted for a number of charges, including second-degree murder and illegal possession of a stolen firearm.
