ST. CHARLES PARISH, La. — UPDATE: Two more teens were arrested on Feb. 29 by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office in conjunction with crimes committed in Norco nine days earlier.
A 14-year-old male was arrested Thursday in Norco, LA, for multiple car thefts and burglaries stemming from Feb. 20, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office says the teen is from the New Orleans area. Residents in the 500 and 600 blocks of Giacomo, Fourth, Spruce, and Pine Streets reported that two vehicles from a driveway, two vapes, and personal items from vehicles were stolen.
Deputies said surveillance video captured a black four-door car stopping in front of the homes. That car was also stolen from a parish nearby and found abandoned in Norco.
The two cars stolen in the 500 block of Giacomo Street were found in New Orleans.
Deputies said the investigation is ongoing, and additional arrests are expected.
