LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. — The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Offices says an inmate at the Livingston Parish Detention Center has died.
Deputies were alerted to an unresponsive inmate on Sunday morning,
"That unresponsive inmate was identified as Clay Kennison, a pre-trial offender. Deputies and medical personnel performed life-saving procedures until emergency services arrived and took control of the event," Sheriff Jason Ard said. "As per the Coroner’s Office, an autopsy will be performed this week. Our findings during this death investigation reveal no foul play."
