NEW ORLEANS — The 20-year-old man arrested in last week's drive-by shooting that wounded a man and woman in the Central Business District is now being charged with one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, Bryceson Jones, who is currently incarcerated in the Orleans Parish Justice Center, has been positively identified as a suspect in a triple drive-by shooting at the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Downman Road on Jan. 14.

Jones allegedly shot one female and two males from an unknown SUV before fleeing the scene.

All three gunshot victims were taken to hospital for medical treatment where 18-year-old Seth Chedville died from his wounds.

Police said Jones will be re-booked on the aforementioned charges in this investigation.
