One man dead, two injured after triple shooting in Marrero

JSPO believes that all three victims were injured at the original scene.

MARRERO, La. — One man has died and two others are injured after a triple shooting in Marrero on Monday evening, according to a press release from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.

JPSO said that deputies were dispatched to a shooting report near the intersection of Acre Rd. and Buccola Ave and found two men, both suffering from gunshot wounds. 

One was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, while the other received treatment for his injuries on the scene.

Deputies were also dispatched to a report of a man that arrived at West Jefferson Medical Center with a gunshot wound. After locating the man he was transported to a separate area hospital for treatment. 

JSPO believes that all three victims were injured at the original scene.

"Anyone with information is asked to call our Homicide Section at 504-364-5300 or call Crimestoppers," the press release said.
