SLIDELL, La. — A car plowed through a Dollar General store on Robert Boulevard in Slidell on Tuesday afternoon, according to local police.
The Slidell Police Department said they believe the driver "inadvertently pressed the accelerator rather than the brake" and that's when the car smashed through the store's glass doors.
In photos posted on the department's Facebook page, the building's front doors are caved in with shattered glass on the ground leading into the store.
The store's entry door was also broken and is seen lying on the floor.
No injuries have been reported.
No further information is available at this time.
