NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is looking for a suspect who smashed their way into a Canal Street business and then burglarized it.
The smash-and-grab burglary happened at a business in the 1500 block of Canal Street around 11:23 p.m. Friday night.
“The perpetrator allegedly smashed the glass door and made off with merchandise. He was reportedly wearing gray Adidas socks over his hands and disposable covers over his shoes,” says an initial NOPD report.
The suspect was caught on the store’s security cameras.
