Lafreniere Park Christmas displays damaged by fires

The cost of damage surpasses $100,000.

JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — Jefferson Parish fire officials are investigating a fire that destroyed two Christmas displays at Lafreniere Park.

Officials tell us this happened the day after Christmas, around 4 a.m. They say the cost of damage surpasses $100,000.

Investigators did not say if they believed this was intentional or not. However, they did tell us they recovered several items believed to be evidence in the case.
