HARVEY, La. — Two men are dead and another man is wounded after shots rang out around midnight on Lac Couture Drive in Harvey.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office said the triple shooting happened around 12:05 a.m. in the 4200 block of Lac Couture Drive. Deputies arriving at the scene found a man with gunshot wounds who later died at the scene.
Authorities say two men arrived at a nearby hospital shortly later with gunshot wounds. One of those men died at the hospital and the other is in stable condition.
JPSO Captain Jason Rivarde said there is no suspect or motive at this time. Rivarde said the victim's name will be released at a later time after family members are notified.
The investigation into the shooting continues.
