PEARL RIVER, La. — St. Tammany fire officials believe a lightning strike from Monday night's severe weather is what caused a house fire in Pearl River.
The first call came in at 6:19 last night according to the St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11.
Fire crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the roof and the bedrooms. The fire was quickly brought under control.
No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.
