A man is wanted by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office for hitting an elderly woman in the parking lot of a Metairie gas station and then fleeing the scene.
On May 18 around 7:30 a.m., a 75-year-old woman was walking back to her car in the parking lot of Shell Gas on Clearview Parkway, when a man backing out of a parking spot hit the woman with his car and knocked her to the ground, according to the sheriff's office.
The man didn't stop and fled in white Mazda 3 with dark-tinted windows. One rim on the driver's side rear was different the other three.
The woman suffered a broken wrist.
