S&WB turbine that helps power N.O. water system can't operate below 45 degrees

The drop in water pressure in New Orleans early Saturday morning that led to a boil water advisory on the city’s East bank also exposed a weakness in the power generation capabilities of the Sewerage & Water Board: cold weather. (Read more)

Rolling Stones will be playing at Jazz Fest, report says

The Rolling Stones announced 2019 U.S. dates for their ‘No Filter’ tour. On the list was no mention of New Orleans, however in a video posted on his Facebook page, Mick Jagger included New Orleans as he sang cities the band will be stopping to. (Read more)
