Algiers precautionary boil water advisory canceled

The advisory was issued around 3 p.m. due to a drop in water pressure caused by a hydrant in need of repair, S&WB said.

NEW ORLEANS — The Sewerage and Water Board canceled the precautionary boil water advisory for residents on the Westbank.

The advisory was issued for the Lower Coast of Algiers around 3 p.m. Saturday due to a drop in water pressure caused by a hydrant in need of repair, S&WB said.

Residents who are experiencing low or no water pressure should always call 504-52-WATER (504-529-2837) and choose your language option (1 for English) and press 1 for Emergencies.
