IV Waste is adding Uptown, Mid-City and parts of Treme and Carrollton to its trash collection.

NEW ORLEANS — Residents in the New Orleans area will have new trash pick-up days starting Monday, April 1, due to a new contract IV Waste signed with the city.

IV Waste is also set to become the trash collection service in Harahan this year after leaving Kenner during lawsuits and controversy with the city.

The new schedule for parts of New Orleans includes:

  • Monday: Mid-City and parts of Treme
  • Tuesday: parts of Mid-City, Hollygrove and Carrollton
  • Wednesday: Uptown, Freret and Broadmoor
