WASHINGTON PARISH, La. — Deputies are investigating after a man was arrested Tuesday on multiple sexual assault charges, including three charges that involve a victim under the age of 12, Washington Parish Sheriff's officials said.
According to Sheriff Randy Seal, a man who lives somewhere along Highway 62 in Washington Parish was arrested Tuesday and booked into the parish jail on three counts of aggravated rape of a child under the age of 12.
He also faces one count of aggravated crime against nature and one count of failure to appear in court.
That man, identified as 25-year-old Logan Jarrell, has faced an assortment of charges in Washington Parish in recent years, Sheriff's officials said.
Jarrell's bond was not set Tuesday. Deputies said the investigation into the charges was ongoing.
Seal condemned the alleged actions and said another parish resident was arrested for sexual crimes involving children last week.
No further information was immediately available.
