Three wounded, including infant, in New Orleans East shooting Saturday night

NOPD says the infant suffered a graze wound in the shooting.

NEW ORLEANS — Three people were wounded, including an infant, in a shooting in New Orleans East Saturday night.

According to New Orleans police, the shooting happened around 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Wilson Avenue.

Police say a man, woman and infant were shot at the location and taken to the hospital by EMS. 

NOPD says the infant suffered a graze wound in the shooting. They did not say how severe the man and woman's wounds are.
