With the potential of tropical weather impacting southeast Louisiana over the weekend, the following schools have announced closures.
Grand Isle School - Closed Friday, Oct. 5 to Monday, Oct. 9
Lafitte Schools - Closed Friday, Oct. 5 to Monday, Oct. 9
University of Holy Cross - Closed Saturday, Oct. 7
Nunez Community College - Closed Friday Oct. 6 at 12 p.m. - Sunday Oct. 8
Plaquemines Parish Schools - Closed Monday Oct. 9
Herzing University in Kenner - Closed Saturday, Oct. 7
Xavier University's campus will close Fri., 10/6, at 10 p.m.
Tulane University Campus closed to everyone except on campus residents and essential staff
