NEW IBERIA, La. — A tornado has touched down in the Southport Subdivision area of New Iberia, Louisiana says the New Iberia Police Department.
Police say the tornado did considerable damage to an area hospital. Several homes were damaged, and people are trapped. Rescue efforts are underway. NIPD, NIFD, State Police, and IPSO are on the scene.
