Former LSU player Seimone Augustus inducted into Basketball Hall of Fame

The all-star player helped to lead the Tigers to the Final Four from 2005 until 2006. Augustus's No. 33 was retired by LSU and Lynx.

BATON ROUGE, La. — Former LSU women's basketball player Seimone Augustus was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Saturday, according to WBRZ.

Augustus is an eight-time WBNA All-Star, winning the WBNA championship four times. She was also College Player of the Year twice at LSU and the Minnesota Lynx.

The all-star player helped to lead the Tigers to the Final Four from 2005 until 2006. Augustus's No. 33 was retired by LSU and Lynx, our partners reported.
