LSU Gymnastics wins its first NCAA National Championship

​Since 1983, LSU's gymnastics is the eighth team to win a national title.

FORT WORTH, Texas — LSU's gymnastics team has earned its first-ever NCAA National Championship with a score of 198.225, according to Nola.com.

After being a runner-up four times in 2014-2019, the Tigers finally broke through during their 10th trip to the NCAA finals in Fort Worth Texas.
