DETROIT — The Green Bay Packers selected Tulane's quarterback Michael Pratt in the second 7th round pick as No. 245 overall in the NFL draft Saturday.

Pratt, the No. 245 overall pick, stands 6'2 tall and weighs 217 pounds.

In his four seasons with the Green Wave, Pratt is Tulane's all-time leader with 9,611 pass yards and 90 pass touch downs.

Pratt was named the 2023 American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year. He finished the regular season last year with 2,168 passing yards and 21 touchdowns against 4 interceptions and a passing completion percentage of 66 percent. He also ran for 376 yards and 4 touchdowns.

He also is credited with leading the Green Wave's most successful year in 2022, when the team won the Cotton Bowl.

Pratt had the "15th-best touchdown to interception ratio in the nation among 109 qualified in quarterbacks since 2022," CBS Sports reported.

He is set to start his NFL career as backup quarterback, but could become a potential starter.
