French Ambassador to the U.S. visits Degas House, honors its historic legacy
French Ambassador to the United States, Philippe Etienne, visited Degas House in New Orleans on July 15 to celebrate the painter's 185th birthday and recognize the local landmark as one of the "Maisons des Illustres," or important French cultural sites.
