HAMMOND, La. — A hotel in Hammond caught fire on Tuesday, and the flames reached all four floors.
The Hammond Fire Department responded to the fire at Home Suites 2 off South Magnolia. When they arrived, they found the outside of the building scorched in flames and black smoke filling the air. They worked with Natalbany and Ponchatoula Fire Departments to get the fire under control in about 35 minutes.
The department said no injuries have been reported.
The fire is under investigation.
