Morning News from 7-9 a.m. moves to WUPL-TV

“CBS This Morning” will be moving to WWL-TV from 7-9 a.m. beginning December 5, 2016. “The Eyewitness Morning News” from 4:30-7 a.m. will remain on WWL-TV and from 7-9 a.m. will now air on WUPL-TV (WWL-TV’s sister station).

“This gives us the opportunity to provide the best local coverage and expanded national coverage to our viewers," said WWL-TV/WUPL-TV President and GM Tod Smith.

“New Orleans area viewers will now have a choice between their long-time favorite local newscast and what is regarded as the best and hardest hitting national morning news program.”

The change will take effect on December 5, 2016.

How you can watch:

Here is where you can find WUPL-TV, home of The 504, a local talk show featuring Sheba Turk, who talks to guests about a wide variety of topics, and home, beginning Dec. 5, to the 7-9 a.m. hours of the Eyewitness Morning News.
