Crimestoppers, JPSO up cash reward for info on homeless encampment triple homicide investigation

Tipsters will remain anonymous and do not have to testify in court to earn the cash reward.

JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and Crimestoppers have increased the reward money for information that will help them find who may be responsible for a triple homicide at a makeshift homeless encampment.

Crimestoppers and JPSO have raised the cash reward up to $5,000 for information that could help land a conviction in the investigation.

“On April 3, 2024, Marcey Vincent, Warren Fairley, and Mindy Ann Robert were found in a vacant lot near the intersection of Scott St. and Shrewsbury Road," JPSO spokesperson Captain Jason Rivarde said.

“Each had been shot multiple times.  The JPSO Homicide Section is currently investigating the incident and asking for the public's assistance in identifying those responsible.”

If you have witnessed or have information concerning this crime, you must call Crimestoppers directly and submit an anonymous TIP at (504) 822-1111 to qualify for the reward.

Tipsters will remain anonymous and do not have to testify in court to earn the cash reward.

When calling Crimestoppers you will be issued a tip number, which is the only way we identify you.

Callers must keep that number to check on the status and be eligible for the cash Reward.
