NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is asking for assistance in locating 41-year-old Jermaine McDaniels in a violent home-invasion investigation from Saturday afternoon.
According to police, McDaniels forced his way into a residence in the 2300 block of Mazant Street at approximately 4 p.m. and then proceeded to bludgeon a victim by repeatedly striking them with an object and his hands before fleeing the scene.
McDaniels stands 6-foot-2 and weighs around 240 pounds.
The NOPD is asking anyone with information about the crime or the suspect is asked to call Fifth District detectives at 504-658-6050 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
