Police say one person is dead after a shooting in the St. Roch neighborhood Thursday morning.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the shooting happened near the intersection of Touro and Abundance streets. Officers arriving at the scene found a 44-year old man lying face down just off the street. He was shot multiple times and died at the scene of the shooting, according to NOPD.
“No additional information is available at this time,” a statement from the NOPD said.
