NEW ORLEANS — If you've ever gone into a Popeyes fast food restaurant and said, "Man, I want to wear what they're wearing," well, now you have the chance.
Perhaps inspired by the success of its chicken sandwich and the promotional campaign surrounding it - Popeyes is now offering clothing to be purchased online.
The web site thatlookfrompopeyes.com was down mid-day Wednesday. Whether that was a technical hiccup or the demand for the clothing was that high is uncertain, but, according to several major business web sites, Popeyes is offering several items from hats to hooded jackets, sweatshirts and warmup pants in prices ranging from $10 to $40.
Unlike other major brand names that stamp their logos all over products they sell, Popeyes seems to be going for a hipper look that emphasizes the colors and minimizes the logos.
