JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — Somebody should be pretty happy today!
That's because a Mega Millions ticket sold in Metairie is worth $1 million dollars. The ticket matched five out of the six numbers in Tuesday night's drawing.
Those numbers are: 32...48...50...51...64 and the Mega Ball is 10.
According to the Louisiana Lottery's website, the ticket was bought at the Live Oak Discount Zone on Live Oak Street and Lake Avenue, off Metairie-Hammond Highway.
It's not clear who the lucky winner is, but if you bought a ticket there be sure to check those numbers!
The next drawing is set for Friday, Feb. 7 and has an estimated jackpot of around $187 million. Tickets cost $2.
It's not first time in recent months there's been a big winner sold in Metairie. Back in October, a $2 million ticket was sold at the Superior Discount convenience store on Metairie Road.
