NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a double shooting in the New Orleans East area.
The shooting took place in the 8400 block of North I-10 Service Road just before 2 a.m. According to police, a man sustained gunshot wounds to the chest and arm. A woman also sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Both victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
