LSU celebrates Gymnastics champions with parade

The celebration will be held at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Wednesday.

BATON ROUGE, La. — After LSU's Gymnastics earned its first NCAA National Championship, the celebrations haven't stopped rolling in. The team will be honored with a parade and ceremony on the university's campus Wednesday.

The Tigers will celebrate at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC). The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. and the ceremony will follow at 7.

LSU's gymnastics team earned its first-ever NCAA National Championship with a score of 198.225 on Saturday in Fort Worth Texas. Since 1983, LSU's gymnastics is the eighth team to win a national title.

Doors to the arena open at 6 p.m.
