Belle Chasse Bridge toll rates set

Toll collection is expected to start in the spring.

BELLE CHASSE, La. — On Monday, the Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project announced 2024 GeauxPass toll rates for the new Belle Chasse Bridge.

Tolls will be collected in each direction by an electronic tolling system, allowing non-stop driving and reducing traffic congestion, according to the Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project.

Toll collection is expected to start in the Spring after the bridge is fully constructed.

Toll Rates 

  • Local Plaquemines Parish vehicles with a GeauxPass - $0.25.
  • Non-local Class 1 vehicles with a GeauxPass - $1.10 
  • Non-local Class 1 vehicles without a GeauxPass - $2.20 
  • Class 2 vehicles with a GeauxPass - $3.66
  • Class 2 vehicles without a GeauxPass - $4.76
  • Class 3 vehicles with a GeauxPass - $7.33
  • Large trucks without a GeauxPass - $8.42

Officials said all rate categories are subject to an annual increase by CPI except the Plaquemines Parish Resident rate.
