Sheriff: Two more teens arrested for stolen vehicles, property in Norco

A 14-year-old was also arrested on Thursday.

LULING, La. — The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office apprehended more suspects believed to be involved in multiple crimes in Norco late last month.

The announcement comes a day after arresting a 14-year-old New Orleans native on Thursday, the deputies arrested two other teens, ages 15 and 17, for incidents on Feb. 20 that included two stolen vehicles and the burglaries of other automobiles in the area.

The vehicles were stolen from the driveway of a residence in the 500 block of Giacomo Street. Both were located in New Orleans later that day.

A vehicle was burglarized in the 600 block of Giacomo, as were those in the 500 blocks of Fourth and Spruce streets, as well as one in the 600 block of Pine.

Surveillance video obtained by the sheriff's office showed a black four-door vehicle stop in front of the residences with the targeted vehicles. The sheriff's office said evidence gathered throughout the investigation points to the three teens arrested.

Sheriff Greg Champagne applauded the hard work of Detective Charles Floyd and assisting Detectives.

"Their dedication to the citizens of St. Charles Parish helps keep our parish a safe place to live and work," he said.
