MARRERO, La. — A man was shot and killed in Marrero Sunday evening.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the 2800 block of Mt. Kennedy Drive.
Sheriff Joe Lopinto said that deputies responded to a report of a shooting and when they arrived, they found the adult male victim lying on the ground suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is currently no motive or suspect information at this time.
