NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Fire Department had to evacuate the Willowbrook Apartment Complex in the Little Woods neighborhood after a unit caught fire on Sunday evening.
Crews battled the 2-alarm blaze that started on the third floor of one of the buildings.
Flames were already shooting through the roof of the apartment when firefighters arrived at 6:57 p.m., less than 10 minutes after receiving the call.
The fire was brought under control at 7:26 p.m.
No one was hurt during the incident.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
