NEW ORLEANS — One of two people running for state insurance commissioner has withdrawn from the race.
Rich Weaver withdrew and that means Tim Temple wins unopposed.
Temple is a native of Louisiana and has worked as an insurance professional for over 20 years.
The current insurance commissioner Jim Donelon opted not to run for re-election.
