One person dead after triple shooting in Marrero

JPSO currently does not have a suspect or a motive at this current point in time.

MARRERO, La. — Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office said that a triple shooting in Marrero killed one person and wounded two others on Sunday, according to a press release.

The release said that deputies were dispatched at around 1:30 p.m. to a shooting near the intersection of James and Wabash Drive. They located two men suffering from at least one gunshot wound and rushed both to a hospital.

One of the men died at the hospital while the other is in stable condition. A third man also arrived at the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

JPSO said they have no motive or suspect information available at this time.
